So I guess it's been a long time I am really not that great at blogging as most of you know...but I will let you know a little about what is going on in our small family.
Kairi...
Kairi has started Preschool she LOVES it. so far she has made a color train, and lots of fun Halloween decorations for the house. She went on her first field trip last week had a blast but this mommy forgot. So I dropped her off Friday as normal. Said my goodbyes hopped in the van and drove off not even 3 mins later her teacher calls me and asks. "did you remember today is the Linder Farms feildtrip?" I am thinking oh CRAP!!! so I told her teacher I needed to go and drop off Lilly at her Great Grandma's and I would be right back. I hurried back as fast as I could. Made it back in time before they left for the farm.
On the way back I called my mom and started crying. This was her first field trip and I forgot I didn't even let her know she had a field trip she had no idea. Kairi of course didn't seem to care that I forgot and just had fun. Of course it was just me that felt so bad. So When we got to Linder Farms she got to go through her first Corn maze. we went all together and yes all of us parents included got lost and it was suppose to be the easiest one...LOL Then the kids went and played in a Hay maze, she loved it...however there was one rule no climbing over the haystacks...yeah well Kairi is a climber...so I told her not too she puts her head down and pouts all the way to me then starts crying. She is very tender hearted but also very hard headed. From there they went on a hay ride, and then they looked at horses and picked out a pumpkin. Kairi was very picky about which pumpkin to pick and it took her about 10 mins. But she loves it! After wards she played with some other children and had popcorn and juice. Overall she had a blast I believe.
Kairi is like I said very hard headed so to discipline her is very difficult. She does listen to her Daddy but what child doesn't? However when mommy goes to discipline her she just laughs at me. She is very jealous of her younger sister and bites her all the time, hits her with toys and kicks her. But Lilly will get her back and is already starting.
Kairi is in Love with Rapunzel right now off of Tangled. Matter of fact that is what she is going to be for Halloween. Her Halloween Party is tomorrow in her class and she is so excited to wear her Rapunzel dress. She is hoping Santa will bring her a Rapunzel Doll this year for Christmas. We love her so much and it's amazing how fast she is growing we just found out this week that she knows how to change her clothes. We had her in her room playing went in to check on her and she had a new outfit on...yes the fun begins :D but can't be more excited. Can't believe our little baby is already 3 years old. How time flies when you are having fun.
Well onto Lilly...
She is just as stubborn as her sister for as we all know they learn from the best. Lilly has learned how to use things to get to what she wants. She is now trying to climb out of her crib and she is only 15 mths old. She is my little climber. Her favorite thing even though she knows she shouldn't (we know this b/c we ask her and she shakes her head "no") is to climb on kitchen table chairs then onto the table. she is our little table dancer.
Lilly now has 6 teeth she is a late teether compared to her sister she had only 2 on her 1st birthday and then they all started coming in well. And let me tell you she has learned from the best and b/c her sister has taught her how to bite she is now biting... Yay for me. I was a biter as a child (I drew blood on my sister's back) and so there for what comes around goes around...I now have two that bite.
Lilly really likes music she loves the soundtrack Mama Mia LOL she has taste that is all I can say. She doesn't really watch any shows unless she is tired. Tonight we had 101 dalmations on in the car and she was glued to it. The second we put her in her crib she was out. Lilly has had alot of ups and downs since she was born but I can say she is one happy child for all she has been through. None of my children have taken pacifiers and Kairi was easy to break of the bottle however that hasn't been the case. She likes her milk in her bottle she won't take it any other way. That is until about a week ago. She is now officially off the bottle at night and at nap time! YAY~ and she is starting to take her milk out of a sippy cup. This is an awesome accomplishment. Way to go baby! we love you.
P.S. Lilly is going to be a smurfette for Halloween pretty excited about it since I am making it :D
As for Aaron...
Aaron started a new job in July as Activations Coordinator for Enphase Energy...HE LOVES IT! he hates when he is sick and has to call in which is great for the checkbook and for his job :D He is working full-time and then going to school part-time as most of you know as a pharmacist. He has long days and he usually sees his girls for about 3 hours during the week and then gets to see them all weekend long. Hey at least he gets the weekend to have fun with us. And he does get to b/c his job lets him do his homework while he is at work so it makes more time for us. :D
About 3 weeks ago Aaron pulled out his back mowing our yard. He was going to a Chiropractor 3 times a week. He says he is feeling better then he has in a long time so that is wonderful. But man having your husband down is very hard, especially when they are home and the kids don't see him home all the time so they just want to play with him (by that I mean jump on him).
As For me...
Well I have had my ups and downs but for the most part very happy. I had to come to a realization on alot of things in my life which has been very hard but I have a great friend helping me along the way. I am proud to say that we have been Married for 4 years this November and it's been a fabulous 4 years. I wouldn't want to spend it with any one else. With everything going on in my life right now Aaron is there to make me smile and raise me up. I am so happy I married him.
Not alot has really happened that is relevant anyways in my life I have had alot of people assume I am pregnant again including my daughters pediatrician she touched my belly and said "take care of this one too" as we left the office yesterday for kairi's 3 year check up. I was polite but said "I am not pregnant we aren't trying yet but I do have a question...Am I GLOWING?!?!? I have had lots of people think I am pregnant LOL" she said "oh I am sorry but yes you do seem to be glowing." Well aaron made me pick up a pregnancy test b/c of a "women's intuition" and NO I AM NOT PREGNANT...my dad is very sad by this he really wants us to have another baby but this isn't in the works for awhile probably not until next year.
So needless to say I am working out still and trying desperately to get off my baby fat, Aaron bless his heart says that I look thinner but I really am not seeing it yet. LOL I guess I want a "washboard abs" LOL j/k
I am now addicted to Pinterst along with about the rest of the world LOL it's worse then facebook. I am slowly trying to make crafts but I tell you what it's a lifesaver when it comes to ideas for my toddlers. Needless to say I will try to blog more often so we don't have a novel to read every year. :D I am really going to try and hopefully I will succeed I know I can :D
Until next time Love the Winbergs :D
