Sleepless Nights...

So we got Family pictures done for our Christmas Cards, while my sister was home. It was a lot of fun however it was a little sad too, that I will come to later. But first let me talk to you a little bit about our fun weekend with my sister.

So my sister came in Late on Friday she had asked me if we (Aaron and the girls and I) could spend the night at my parents for Friday and Saturday since she would be going home on Sunday...I didn't mind but that choice would have to be my parents so I told her she would have to ask. Well we ended up staying the night both nights, yeah I am not so sure that was the best decision. LOL.
Friday Night, Kairi was so excited that Auntie Heather was there that we told her she could stay up until she got to she her. Well then she used her puppy eyes and worked her magic on my sister and got my sister to agree to go sleep with her in Kairi's bed. Well, this was about 10:30 p.m. yeah so about 2 hours later my sister is asleep and Kairi is still wide awake :D Lilly was sound asleep and had been for about 2 hours as well, luckily. Trying to get Kairi to sleep was a challenge though. We tried rocking her, laying down with her we couldn't just let her cry herself to sleep b/c the rest of the house was already asleep and the last room was filled with Lilly and if she cried it would wake up Lilly. So we went on a midnight drive to see if that would work. YEP sure enough not even a mile down the road she was asleep. YAY! or so we thought.

We came home and put her in bed with me, she luckily stayed asleep until about 3 am then she decided to toss and turn (remind you this is the room Lilly is in too) yep by 5am both girls were up and wide awake. So I broke down got Lilly a bottle tried to get her back to sleep, Aaron took Kairi and got her back to sleep until about 7am. Lilly she tossed and turned for about an hour and a half, THEN.....a train went by the loudest one I have ever heard blew it's horn like I don't know a million zillion times and guess what Lilly is awake again same with Kairi and my sister and myself. YAY!!! Needless to say Mommy with only 3 hours of sleep=very very cranky mommy indeed.
So we all got up and got ready then we headed to Red Robin with my sister, parents and my grandparents. It was a fun meal we ate outside and realized Kairi does a lot better outside then she does on the inside. Then we were off to do some errands. I have to say for being locked in your car seats for over an hour my girls did good probably b/c we had 101 Dalmations on LOL. while my parents, sister and Aaron where in at Verizon. Afterwards we took our daughters to get a treat at Fred Meyer while my mom ran into the bank. I figured if it was hard for me to sit that long they did awesome since they didn't whine too much.

Well Luckily Friday night went a little better both girls went to bed at their normal times and Kairi woke up b/c she was thirsty but she did well herself. In the morning we all got up and got ready and my sister took some pictures for us, for our Christmas cards. I must say for the kids being extremely tired we got some very cute pictures.

However, we went to get a CD made so that we could go through the pics since my sister was leaving. So we went to Walgreens got the CD's put in, but couldn't pick them up for about an hour. So we went back to my parents and after my sister left my mom and I went to pick them up. I got two discs b/c my dad wanted one. Well, the CD didn't have all the pictures on them b/c alot of the pictures from Kairi's 3rd birthday doubled. I tried to call Walgreens Photo and they said that there wasn't anything they could do. SAD....luckily my sister came to the rescue and she is just going to send me a new CD. I wouldn't even worry but some of the best pictures didn't make it to the CD.... :( I guess that is what I get for breaking the sabbath but in my defense my sister was in town and that is how we were raised Family ALWAYS comes first, so when my sister is in town for only a day we spend all the time we can with her.

Well I end with this awesome picture of Aaron and the girls if you look closely the reason I love it so much is because both the girls have the same expression on their faces. Its the best
